In 2006, Arnold released a series of albums in a row, finding a great success (particularly in the music press) with his people and places album ‘Secrets of Soho’ (recorded in Francis Bacon’s spiritual home – The Colony Room), quite simply the best and only concept album about London’s Golden Mile. During the promotion of the album after a sell out show at The Soho Revue Bar, Arnold began to perform his remarkable and spine-tingling rendition of the Edith Piaf classic, ‘Je Ne Regrette Rien’.

As an artist, Tim Arnold creates songs that remind us of the very complexity of human nature. His eight solo album,  Another World marked a new era.  Tracks like
Another World and If You Could See Hope are unmistakably Arnold, musically more melodic and lyrically more on target than ever before.

In the changing climate of the music industry, Tim now works to meet the needs of a new generation of music lovers whose attitude to music has replaced 'ownership' with 'access'. He his currently working on 2 albums simultaneously, both of which he considers to be 'mixed media' projects.

"Since people's lives are now so dominated by a computer screen, it's natural to watch before you listen, so I can't imagine releasing a song without a video these days. But to really stimulate people's experience of new music, it's all about putting on an event so special that people will actually leave their home entertainment systems for a night"

Tim plans all his releases from now on to be accompanied by some form of visual content. Video and theatre play a large part in the future of his work.
