Description

‘Be There To Find You’ was inspired by my friend Kathy Hahn who lost her home in the Mississauga Townhouse Fire last month. The song is dedicated to her and people who have also lost their homes in the face of tragedy and disaster this year.

I will personally donate all revenue from the download on this page to help Kathy in the journey to rebuild her life again and give her and her mum a special Christmas. With thanks to all the musicians in the UK and Canada who gave their valuable time to recording this song. TAx

P.S. To read about the extraordinary journey I experienced making this song, chapter one of six can be found here.

Lyrics:

Be There To Find You

So this is not what you thought
It’s not what you thought it would be
Time has taken, prayers have broken
What it could mean to be free

We’re better together. What are we anyway?

And if you’re strong, I will stand by you
And If you’re weak, then I’m right behind you
And when you’re lost, I’ll be there to find you
Be there to find you.

So this is all we have between us now
Nothing but signs in the sand
And if we broke this moment into pieces
Don’t think I won’t hold you hand

It don’t feel like the sunrise. But it’s a new day.

And if you’re strong, I will stand by you
And If you need, I’ll never deny you
And when you’re lost, I’ll be there to find you
Be there to find you.

Don’t ever think you’ve lost your way
I’ll be there to find you
