The staging of the Sonnet 155 album at the Almeida Theatre, London (2, 9 May 2010) was a celebration of Arnold’s work that included contributions from Benedict Cumberbatch, Richard Briers, Hattie Morahan, Lisa Dillon and Paul McGann, along with actors who sparked the inspiration for the album – with Shakespeare as the ultimate instrument. The show features an ensemble of rock musicians led by Arnold, a string section, opera singers and the actors, bringing to life a fusion of classical music, rock music and spoken word.
